Aids Database Technology

The Aids Database consists of a fully distributed database architecture designed to be both efficient in each country for use while being fully redundant and secure.

 


Software Implementation and Operation Process:

  1. Master Electronic Health Record (EHR) software database housed in World AIDS Database server in Geneva
  2. Upon verification of Country AIDS Database Server criteria, license key is used by the Country AIDS Database Server to contact World AIDS Database Server Geneva for single server license use EHR program download.
  3. Upon verification of Country Clinic Terminal verification criteria, license key is used by the Country Clinic Terminal to contact World AIDS Database Server Geneva for single terminal use EHR program download.
  4. Country Mobile Wireless Check Point Terminals will be issued with EHR complete with fingerprint authentication and will be used to query Country AIDS Database Server for patient status and to enter new patients into system.
  5. Country Clinic Terminals download daily records to Country AIDS Database Server and World AIDS Database Server Geneva.
  6. Main Country AIDS Database Server download daily records to World AIDS Database Server Geneva, these process create data redundancy.
  7. This system will be replicated in each country that is assimilated into the system.
